It's been a busy fall and I need to get caught up on some blog posts. Kylie turned 3 a week ago. How can my baby girl be 3 already?! She got to celebrate in preschool by putting candles on a felt cake, and blowing out a fake candle.
All the kids seemed to enjoy the pumpkin cupcakes I made. It's nice that we can bring treats for birthdays in preschool since it's almost never allowed in elementary school anymore.
We had a pretty quiet day on her actual bday since we were doing a joint party with Evie the following weekend (I'll blog about that soon) Kylie opened her presents when she woke up- she was very excited about her new scooter.
She got a chocolate croissant for breakfast- mostly just ate the chocolate out of it.
She also got a stomp rocket. So. much. fun.
In the afternoon we headed to Valley Park for a picnic lunch and a chance to practice scooting on the basketball courts while Daddy skated. It's amazing how much she improved in 1 afternoon.
We were planning on going to Chick-Fil-A for dinner and had promised Ky nuggets and chocolate milk. We drove up and were ready to park when doh! we forgot it was closed on Sunday. We were dressed super cas so we tried another easy place (Pat & Oscar's)- only to discover it was closed now too! 3rd times the charm- we finally decided to go to BJs. After dinner she got her first pizookie.
Is that for me?!
I think she likes it.
Yep, pretty sure.
We love you Kylie Bear. You'll always be our baby girl.
