This is the kind of thing that happens when Daddy is watching me...

ut-oh, we're caught! I know I'm not supposed to sleep in bed with Mommy and Daddy but every once in a while it's kind of fun....especially when Mommy is too sleepy to get up yet.

Weekend in SLO

I had a triple baby shower to go to for some good friends from college so we decided to make it a weekend getaway. It was our first trip with Kylie. She did great on the drive, slept practically the whole time, but didn't sleep so well at the hotel.

Ky and Kate have a very special bond because they have the exact same birthday (Kylie is 10 hours older:) and they both spent the first month of their lives in the hospital NICU. It was fun for them to get to meet and for Monique and I to compare notes on how motherhood is going.

February Fun

We hosted book club last night and Kylie got to meet Jonah Kai. Jonah's mom, my friend Brianne, said Yea, Jo Kai gets to meet Ky Jo! how fun is that!

Lindy and Britt come to visit!

My lifelong friend, Lindy, came to visit with her 8 month old daughter, Britt. We grew up together in Davis but she now lives in the suburbs of Chicago. She decided to take a break from the freezing cold and her 3 year old daughter to come visit us. We had a blast! It was so nice to see her, meet her beautiful and super fun daughter, as well as get encouragement and words of wisdom from a wonderful Mom. Here we are walking around the Trump Golf Course in PV. Gorgeous views!

Jim's movie was released to theatres last weekend. Matt's aunt and cousin babysitted the girls and we got to go see it. Thank you Cindy and Nicole!

oops- don't know how to make it unsideways. Ohwell. I had 2 matching outfits in different sizes so we decided to dress the girls up as twins. Britt is all smiles as you can tell...I can't wait for Kylie to start smiling- it's still sporadic and I'm not completely convinced she knows what she's doing.

Pretty much impossible to keep two babies still....I think this pic is fun though because you can see Kylie's huge dimple...she has one on each side.

2010 Happenings....

Kylie just met Kara for the first time, she's 7 months older. Great to get advice and encouragement from the experts, John and Lauren.

so peaceful...

Trying to be more disciplined about reading my Bible...it used to be so ingrained in me as part of my morning routine but now it's a little more challenging (or a lot more!) to get it in.
