We had 3 Christmas celebrations this year. One at home with the 4 of us, one in Davis with my fam, and one at our house, with Matt's fam. It was so special to watch Kylie's excitement as she learned a gift was for her. She even helped Evie open hers too :) I borrowed a friend's idea and took Kylie to the Dollar Tree to pick out a present for everyone in our family. She loved helping me wrap them and hand them out to each person. It was a neat lesson on the joy of giving.
What did Santa bring us?
Matching jacket to Daddy's
Stacking cups
and lots more!
Christmas Eve in Davis
Breakfast with Grandpa Christmas morning
Kylie got a beautiful doll house
Evie got a Giraffe stuffy named Sophie
And Jadon got a new bike
The 9 of us had a blast hanging out together. It was so fun to see Jadon and Kylie playing so well with each other. One afternoon we went on campus to bowl. I think it cost only $14 for all of us to play for an hour. My mom was the big winner (no surprise there). There aren't many activities that adults can try their hardest at with kids involved so with my competitive family, bowling was a hit! Here's some pics of Jadon and Kylie bowling.
Thankfully it only rained 1 day so we were able to play outside every day.
We drove home on Friday and had Matt's Uncle Carter's Memorial service on Saturday. After scattering his ashes from a boat past the Hermosa Pier, we enjoyed visiting with friends and family and John and Julia's. Here's a whole bunch of Smart people.
On Sunday we hosted a post Christmas get together. Meg and Jim gave the 4 of us cashmere sweaters.
Evie got cuddles with Nonna
Enjoying some park time with Grandma and Grandpa
And playing with our new puppet theatre from and John and Julia. so fun! Come on over if you want to see my Little Bunny Foo Foo performance.
Well the New Year is off and running. Excited to see what God has in store for us this year!

Love the dollar store idea for kids to pick out Christmas gifts! Also, I loved your Little Bunny Foo Foo performance today and Abby obviously did too since she spent the next 10 minutes trying to imitate you in the puppet theater :) Lots of cute pics of the girls too!
What a fun Christmas! The bowling looks fun, we need to try that!
Do you have tickets for a 3pm show?? Looks like a super fun Christmas. I love the dollar store idea too! Anna bought little gifts through her school this year and she loved it. I should help Britt do it next year.
