Celebrating 5 Years

Our 5 year anniversary was July 10th. Wow how time flies! We biked to breakfast at Uncle Bill's in Manhattan and ate at Chef Hannes that night.


Later that weekend, we packed up our overnight gear and biked to Manhattan again to stay the night at Shade, a boutique luxury hotel. We loved it!We had dinner at my favorite South Bay spot, Rock n' Fish. Pictured above is probably one of my all time favorite desserts, Kona Pie. For you dessert lovers, here's the description on the menu: Chocolate, vanilla, and coffee ice cream layered with Butterfinger, toffee, and Oreo crumbs, topped with sliced almonds and whipped cream. It's just about heaven on earth and worth every penny of the $15 it costs. However, I recommend splitting it with more than just 2 people because we had to eat every last bite and felt pretty stuffed after- see our post dessert pictures below.
